The Dripping Well
A bundle of dry kindling has been left on a high ledge, wrapped carefully in waxed cloth. It was a pump room once. The pumps are gone, but their iron feet are still bolted to the floor. Pacing it out gives 5 by 3, which makes it a chamber of some size. One of its ways in is a short arch, cut a pace deep through the rock. The beds are covered with wooden lids here, each lid numbered and hinged. A stone basin stands at waist height against the wall, full to the brim and perfectly still. Someone has scratched a tally into the wall — 58 marks, the last one shallow, unfinished.
Depth 58.

You are reading the dungeon, not walking it. Rooms are only created by people, and only from inside the maze.
