The Leaning Passage

The whole passage is out of true — floor, walls and ceiling tilted a few degrees together, so that walking it feels like walking a ship. Nothing has cracked. Whatever moved down here moved all of it at once, slowly, and a long time ago. There is a hollow sound behind the western wall, as though the stone were not solid.
