The Sluiced Great-Tank
The brick is laid in a herringbone here, and every seam of it is green. This is a chamber of some size, 8 by 4 paces. It is a crossing that was cut as a room, arms and all. The smell of old incense is here, faint and sweet, and your light does not show where it comes from. Someone has scratched a tally into the wall — 57 marks, the last one shallow, unfinished.
Depth 57.

You are reading the dungeon, not walking it. Rooms are only created by people, and only from inside the maze.
