The Descending Passage
The floor tilts away from the landing here for the first time, and everything about the room agrees that this is the direction people actually went: the walls are scuffed at shoulder height on both sides, the dust is beaten flat, and the draught is at your back, pushing. The tally marks resume on the left-hand wall and are more numerous than above.
A scuttler waits by the east arch. It bears no sigil; whatever left it did not give a name.
Depth 1
You are reading the dungeon, not walking it. Rooms are only created by people, and only from inside the maze.
