The Patient Catacomb
There are numbers chiselled above each recess, and they do not run in order. There is a hole in the floor, hand-sized, and it goes down further than seems reasonable. Someone has scratched a tally into the wall — 22 marks, the last one shallow, unfinished. There is a hollow sound behind the north wall, as though the stone were not solid.
Depth 22.
You are reading the dungeon, not walking it. Rooms are only created by people, and only from inside the maze.
