The Eastern Drift

The finished stonework stops mid-course, as if the masons were called away between one block and the next, and beyond it the passage is raw rock, following a seam south and then bending west. A line of soot dots marks the ceiling at arm's-length intervals, someone's count of how far they were willing to go. An arch opens to the east partway down, cut more carefully than the drift itself.

You are reading the dungeon, not walking it. Rooms are only created by people, and only from inside the maze.
