The Faithful Ash-Pit
A chalk number above a niche has been corrected more than once, in different hands. There is room here for many more, and the room seems to know it. You are in a chamber of some size: 4 paces one way and 4 paces the other. The walls round off at the corners, as if the room had been worn into shape rather than cut. A great iron pot hangs over a cold hearth, its inside crusted white. A tall candle-stand of wrought iron stands empty in the middle of the floor.

You are reading the dungeon, not walking it. Rooms are only created by people, and only from inside the maze.
