The Dry Channel

A channel a hand's-breadth wide runs the length of the floor, lined with fitted stone and dry as chalk. It comes down from the north, turns, and was made to carry water east; it has not carried any in living memory. Green stains it at the edges to a height that suggests it once carried a great deal.
